ABOUT
Over the years we have closely studied the architectural/urban development in Barcelona and Norway. This knowledge gives our team common grounds.
Founded by Maria Mestres and Magnus Wåge in 2005, Mestres Wåge Arquitectes is a Barcelona based architecture practice with offices both in Barcelona and Oslo. Our portfolio contains projects of various sizes for both public and private clients. We work with architecture and urbanism as an intertwined discipline and offer services throughout all phases - from conceptual design to construction phase. Our team is an informed group that works tightly together to achieve the best solutions for the projects we undertake. The office has won and been acknowledged in several international architecture competitions, is teaching in architectural schools in Norway, participating in various workshops, fairs and exhibitions as well as giving lectures abroad.

As part of our office strategy, we collaborate with other professionals in order to be able to address projects of high complexity. We have strategic partners in Spain and Norway and apply a flexible process with our clients, where dialogue is a key element for the best results. We apply the latest digital tools for visual, economic and qualitative control, have 14 years BIM modelling experience and, in addition, are members of buidlingSMART Spanish Chapter. We organize our work on a plan where information, timing and deliveries are scheduled based on international standards, have a well developed internal quality control system, professional coordination and control of governmental demands.
